What Is “Targeted Traffic” - How Can It Improve Your Sales?

One thing all webmasters need is traffic to their website, without it your site may as well not exist, but all too often webmaster concentrate on all other expects of running their site
and the actual marketing of the site takes a back seat.

It doesn’t matter if you have the best widgets in the world and you’re giving them away for free, if no one is seeing your site, then you wont give any away, never mind sell one.

There are many ways to market a website, some free, some inexpensive and some very costly, one method is to “buy” visitors, but not just any visitors will do, it’s no good people
looking for cheap flights seeing your snowboarding site as it’s just not relevant to them.

For traffic to be effective it needs to be “targeted” i.e. people who are looking for your product or service right now when they’re ready to make a buying decision, but how does this
work?

How do the companies supplying this traffic know its “targeted”, well what they do is buy up lots of expired domains, these d…

What is DoFollow? What is NoFollow?

If you’ve been doing any kind of reading about link building, then you’ve probably seen people mentioning “nofollow” and “dofollow” links. These are very important terms to understand when you are trying to build great links back to your site in order to increase your search engine rankings. But, to the person who is new to all of this, it may be kind of confusing. I am going to help break it down for you.

You may be thinking… “Why wouldn’t I want the search engine spiders to see all of the links on my site?” This is a very valid concern, which I will address further down. First, I am going to show you how…

Understanding what the “No Follow” tag can do for you

Learning to implement “nofollow” tags is fairly easy. Learning how to apply them in the proper way does require some skill. This post was created in order to educate the average webmaster, or website owner, on what “nofollow” tags can do for your site.

The use of “nofollow” tags can serve many different purposes. They can be used to limit the amount of link juice that flows out of a page to external pages of different domains, or they can be used to control where the link juice will flow to within a site and its internal pages.

Today, we’ll talk about the use of “nofollow” tags to control the amount of link juice flowing within a site and its internal pages. To better explain this I came up with an illustration that should help the “not so technical” crowd understand this process.

If you would, please visualize your homepage as a bucket, and the subpages as sub-buckets. See the Image 1. Now, imagine that every link you have, in every page of your site, is a hole in the bucket. Once the di…

Name squeeze page how to information is a relatively new term, but it’s a technique that has been around for quite some time. Name squeeze page how to information is one of the first steps used by successful marketers for lead generation. Search Engine Ranking Factors can be categorized in four different sections:

Keyword Use FactorsPage AttributesInbound Link AttributeNegative Crawling/Ranking Attributes

A) Keyword Use Factors

The following components relate to the use of the user's search query terms in determining the rank of a particular page.
I) Keyword use in Title Tag - It means placing the targeted search term or phrase in the title tag of the web page's HTML header. Of all the tags, Title tag is definitely the most important when used correctly.
